03/02/92 - Initial Release of 1.0
03/13/92 - Version 1.01
* Added menu option explaining the Compact Disc Connection Ordering
Policies (shipping, order time, etc.).
* Increased speed of search slightly.
* Minor cosmetic changes.
04/01/92 - Version 1.02
* Renamed to CDS at the request of the Compact Disc Connection.
* Corrected bug in CDS that would cause the program to lock up if the
search string was more than 20 characters.
* Once again increased the speed of the search slightly.
05/20/92 - Version 1.03
* Several minor cosmetic changes were made including the front menu.
* Many enhancements were made to the speed of CDS.
* Due to popular demand, the price is now displayed on the search summary
screen. In order to get the price to fit, the title and artist were
slightly truncated.
* Parameters will now be accepted in any of the following ways:
CDS /NOM /VIRT
or CDS -NOM -VIRT
or CDS NOM VIRT
07/07/92 - Version 2.0
* Multiple wish list can be maintained
* Full mouse support has been added including scroll bars
* Catalog names now display with descriptions
* All document files can be viewed from CDS
* Many cosmetic changes
08/04/92 - Version 2.01
* Fixed problem with CDS locking up after viewing the document files.
* Several minor speed enhancements.
* Improved memory usage
* When viewing documents, CDS will return back to the document menu
instead of the main menu.
08/18/92 - Version 2.02
* Corrected problem with the selector (catalog number) getting truncated
to 9 characters in the wish list.
* Added new documents to the information menu.
09/28/92 - Version 2.03
* Made several speed enhancements especially with scrolling.
* CDS.EXE is now much smaller and requires less memory to load.
* Fixed title (2.02 showed the wrong version).
* Corrected bug that caused CDS to lockup on some computers.
* Due to popular demand, the SAMPLE.CDC catalog is now much smaller (only
the "A's" instead of A-D).
10/09/92 - Version 2.04
* In version 2.03, CDS would lockup PC's with older mouse drivers.
* The mouse cursor was "stuck" if the user uses MOUSE.SYS.
* The CDS.DAT file is no longer needed. This file can be deleted.
